Day 01

Day 01 - Arrival

Discover the lively metropolis of Colombo, the busiest city in the world! Take in the urban atmosphere of this little haven and see how colonial structures mix well with modern homes.

Day 02

Day 02 - Temple visit, Traditional dance

Go from Colombo to Kandy, the cultural hub of Ceylon. An ancient Temple of the Tooth designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to the Holy Tooth Relic. See the appealing way of life on the island. Discover the Udarata culture through a traditional dance performance in Kandy. With its vibrant costumes and upbeat beat the traditional Kandyan dance is the first thing you might notice as a problem.

Day 03

Day 03 - Clay making, Pan weaving, Lunch, Waterfall trek

Experience the traditions and way of life of Sri Lankan traditional villages including the weaving and clay-making methods used by the Pan villagers. Eat the traditional rice and curry dishes made in the village to satisfy your hunger. An outing to the Asian Land of Rice is provided by Mahiyanganaya Village Day. This is the first time they have ever seen a leopard considering climbing this mountain even though the hill you must climb is different from others. Through the rocky ledges ascend Knuckles Mountain to the summit which offers a view of the Dumbara Valley. Climbers can participate in a variety of lengthy climbs here.

Day 04

Day 04 - Jungle walk, Mountain caves, Veddha dwelling, Dinner

After a full day of tours arrive in Dambana Village to experience learning the age-old customs of the Veddah people firsthand. Together with the Veddhas stroll through the jungle and teach them about their ancient hunting skills and way of life. You will see a Vanni after exploring the caves and you will be shocked to learn that the Vedis have invited you to their home. Perhaps a memorable BBQ dinner roast whole with traditional Veddha dances will be the show-stopper.

Day 05

Day 05 - Lunch, Jeep safari

Journey to Gal Oya National Park where you can interact with birds and wildlife. Treat your taste buds to a picnic while taking in the natural beauty of the park. After that take an adventure jeep tour to see a variety of animals such as elephants, elks and many amazing birds.

Day 06

Day 06 - Walking, Hunting grounds, Native songs, Folk tales

As you travel, follow the Village Chief of Gal Oya a Vedda and his quest in order to get you deep into the heart of the woods. Listen to the Veddas humming and immerse yourself in the jungle while hearing hunter-gatherer traditional stories.

Day 07

Day 07 - Boat safari, cooking experience

Experience the park’s diverse aspects including its enthralling crocodile and birdlife by taking a morning boat safari in Gal Oya National Park. Take in a captivating culinary demonstration during the evening at a local restaurant. Members will be served a delectable dinner and be taught the secrets of the local delicacies by the elegance.

Day 08

Day 08 - Hike

Begin in Gal Oya and go to Ella, a charming village surrounded by world-class tea farms. In addition, you may be allowed to pass on a morning hike to the summit of Little Adams Peak. Enjoy the sights of Ravana Mountain during your morning stroll.

Day 09

Day 09 - Departure

Finish your journey in Weligama with a calm morning. Before heading to the airport spend a little last-minute relaxation on the beach depending on the time of your flight.
